Do you find this billboard distracting?

A Chatswood community group reached out to us about this newly installed billboard in the Chatswood CBD. Obviously, digital billboards are nothing out of the ordinary these days, but this one, the group claims, is a massive distraction for motorists. 

The group, Chatswood West Ward Progress Association, has called on Planning Minister, Paul Scully, to have the giant advertisement removed. The group says it hasn’t yet had a response.

Is this billboard a road hazard? Is it the right spot to serve up a massive distraction? Or is it up to us as motorists and pedestrians to filter out all the white noise and focus on what we’re doing?
