End of the line: a history of Hawkesbury River Train Station

Amendment: the claim that the suburb of Brooklyn derives it’s name from the Union Bridge Company is incorrect. Records show the name of Brooklyn predates the contract for the Hawkesbury River Bridge. However, the NSW Geographical Names Board does state that the construction company “cemented the name for the locality”.
