Last call, or a new start? North Shore karaoke bar The Pickled Possum up for sale

Late night revellers, karaoke tragics, and all other patrons of the Possum — young and old — wait with bated breath to see the fate of the North Shore institution.

The fate of the Possum hangs in the balance.

Famous — or rather, infamous — North Shore nightlife spot, The Pickled Possum, is up for sale, after the companies who own the property entered into receivership.

The karaoke bar sits along Military Road, just near Neutral Bay Junction.

The tenants, who presently run the bar, are unconnected to this receivership. According to the consulting firm in charge of selling the property, who spoke to Domain, the property has received “intense interest over the last 24 hours”.

While the intentions of the new owner are impossible to know, for now, the institution of North Shore nightlife is still standing.

The North Shore Lorikeet has contacted HTL Property — who has been engaged to manage the sale — for comment.
