McDonald's withdraws application for Crows Nest franchise following local objections

Following numerous local objections, McDonald's Corporation has withdrawn it's development application with North Sydney Council for a Crows Nest franchise on 31 Willoughby Road.
The controversial proposal, first reported by this masthead in May, had drawn more than sixty written submissions via the council development application website. On Tuesday, August 26, the application was officially withdrawn.
