McDonalds officially puts forward plans for 24/7 Crows Nest franchise

The 24/7 franchise, opening at the top of Willoughby Road, follows other new franchises opened in North Sydney and Chatswood East.

McDonalds Corporation has officially lodged a development application with North Sydney Council to open a franchise in Crows Nest. The application reveals that the proposed franchise would open on 31 Willoughby road, at the top of Crows Nest where Westpac Bank formerly operated. 

The application also states that the franchise would be a 24/7 restaurant.

Though an application has been officially lodged, this does not mean the restaurant will open for certain. Only earlier this month, a proposed McDonalds in Redfern was rejected by the City of Sydney local planning panel after the application received significant opposition from the local community.
