Paintings reflecting on the resilience of Australian flora and fauna in the aftermath of bushfires.
Alive in the Landscape, Geoffrey Adams, November 4 – 15.
Adams predominantly works with oil on canvas. His paintings focus on bodies of water, mangroves and birds.

The annual Lane Cove Art Award exhibition, open to artists nationwide, has been running since 1965.

An exhibition from 19 artists who incorporate textile fabrics into their work.
Thinking Pictures, October 31 – November 28
This show focuses on the works of Australian abstract painter Richard Dunn, a former director of the Sydney College of the Arts.

A show for the works of two Hornsby Art Society members, Ida and Ahron Arakel.
Hornsby Art Prize, October 16 – November 1
Hornsby’s annual art competition, open to all Australian residents, with a first prize of $10,000.
The Art of Roslyn Kean, November 20 – December 6
An exhibition of woodblock prints by Roslyn Kean, recipient of the 2025 Hornsby Art Prize Local Artist Award.

Sylvia Wilson is an artist from the East Pilbara. Her works centre around matriarchs in Martu families and culture.

Australia’s longest-running municipal art award. There are 74 entries this year.
Trace a Piece of Water, November 7 – January 31
A video work from Diana Baker Smith, tracing the movement and rhythms of waterways from Ireland to Australia.
