Where to eat on the North shore after the clock strikes 10

If you’re tired of hearing the words “kitchen’s closed”, this one’s for you.

It can be frustrating if you’re looking for somewhere to eat a decent meal after 10pm on the North Shore but don’t want to settle for fast food or that random kebab shop on the corner. Here’s a rolling list of where you can go…

Maisy’s Café

This cosy Neutral Bay eatery is described as an “easygoing, canteen-style joint” and serves up all-day breakfasts, pastas, burgers, nachos, desserts, and more.

Open from 3pm until 3am every day. 164 Military Road.

Hotel Mosman

‘The Duck’ as it’s affectionately known to locals serves food until midnight most nights, offering a variety of meals including vegetarian and gluten-free options. With a regular favourites menu, a chargrilled menu, burgers, salad, sides, kids’ meals and dessert - this is nirvana for your late night hunger.

Open from 10am until 1am every night except Sunday, serving food until midnight. 634 Military Road.

El Jannah Crows Nest

Hear us out: this place is still new to the North and doesn’t yet have the ‘lived in’ feel of other fast food joints, so we think it’s a viable option here if comfortable booths and a wide variety of fresh options tick your boxes for late-night eats. The Lebanese charcoal chicken eatery a few minutes’ walk from the Metro is a relaxed and affordable option for your late night dinner. Trust us!

Open from 10am until 11pm every day. 34 Willoughby Road.

Sunday Seoul

This Korean bistro and bar with ‘70s-themed decor is tucked away in Chatswood and, importantly, open late for dinner! The menu combines traditional Korean flavours with modern twists which of course includes Korean fried chicken (available with radish pickles and a choice of sauces) and so much more. Sunday Seoul is dine-in only.

Open Tuesday-Saturday until midnight and Sunday until 11pm. 2/7 Help Street, Chatswood.

Kirribilli Pizzeria

An Italian eatery known for its square-cut pizzas, you might not know it serves dinner until late on weekends. Dine in or grab takeaway selecting from a variety of options including pizzas, pastas, salads, and of course - perhaps most importantly - Italian desserts. This place has become a local staple since it opened in 2019.

Open until 9:30/10pm on weekdays, 1am on weekends. Closed Sundays.

Minsky’s Hotel

This classic pub and piano bar just down the road from Hotel Mosman which most long-time locals have found themselves at at one point or another, Minksy’s has a typical pub bistro menu you can order from until 1am (think burgers, schnitzels, steaks), with the venue staying open until 2-4am most nights. There aren’t many places left like this in Sydney.

Open 10am-4am most days. 287 Military Road, Cremorne.

Curry Palace, Neutral Bay

If you're looking for the best Indian food you've ever had, we'd recommend going to restaurants between 6-10pm. If you’re up late, however, follow the orange glow of Curry Palace across the road from the Oaks and enjoy its diverse array of relatively inexpensive traditional dishes.

Open 2pm until 2am most days. 120-122 Military Road, Neutral Bay.
